Poor guy

A man escapes from prison where he has been for 15 years. He breaks
into a house to look for money and guns and finds a young couple in bed.


He orders the guy out of bed and ties him to a chair, while tying the
girl to the bed he gets on top of her, kisses her neck, then gets up and
goes into the bathroom. While he's in there, the husband tells his
wife:

"Listen, this guy's an escaped convict, look at his clothes! He probably
spent lots of time in jail and hasn't seen a woman in years. I saw how
he kissed your neck." If he wants sex, don't resist, don't complain, do
whatever he tells you. Satisfy him no matter how much he nauseates you.
This guy is probably very dangerous. If he gets angry, he'll kill us. Be
strong, honey. I love you."

To which his wife responds: "He wasn't kissing my neck. He wwas
whispering in my ear. He told me he was gay, thought you were cute, and

RAN Online is a free 3D 'campus-based' MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role
playing game). The concept is based around several schools competing for
control. Developed by Min Communications of Korea, RAN Online has
become one of the most played MMORPGs in Malaysia,
China, Indonesia,
Thailand,
Taiwan
and the Philippines. It is completely free to play and
uses the virtual item asset model.

The plot revolves around four universities: Leonair, Phoenix, Sacred
Gate and Mystic Peak. These universities were founded by the Sacred
Financial Group. These schools were protected from outside corrupting
forces by force fields. One day, Leonair's force fields failed and the
entire population of the school turned into the undead overnight.
Students from the three remaining schools are trained in fighting
techniques for them to survive outside the safety of their school's
force fields. Outside the school, the students kill corrupted beings and
students of other schools, and the plot unfolds through quests. The
student will attack the other school student to show who the stronger
between 3 school. Twice a week there will be a war between all guild in
the school to choose who will be dominating the place including trading
hole, sacred gates, phoenix hole, and mystic peak.

Sacred Gate Campus is the first educational institution built by the
Sacred Financial Group. On the surface, all looks normal, but there are
troubling undercurrents that lay beneath its design. Rumor has it that
supernatural experiments are being conducted below Sacred Gate’s
underground facilities. From the outside, the school’s veneer seems to
reflect the Sacred Financial Group’s commitment to time-honored values,
with its traditional, oriental architecture, brick-lined walkways,
pagodas, florid gardens and exotic fountains.
In the middle of the school, running through its main walkway, a long
and winding stone dragon weaves below and above ground, its head
looming over Sacred Gate’s main reflecting pool. Awe inspiring and
serene, Sacred Gate Campus is the epitome of Eastern calm. Sacred Gate's
theme focuses on history.

Mystic Peak is the second campus to be created by the Sacred
Financial Group. For strategic reasons, the campus is located on the
Northern area of RAN world. Although the curriculum of Mystic Peak is
similar to that of the other schools, its dedication to the arts is what
sets Mystic Peak apart. This classical approach has helped make Mystic
Peak the most picturesque of the schools. Classrooms are surrounded by
lush, verdant greens and trees, fields of blooming flowers and plants
that add color and vibrancy to an already scenic campus. Stained glass
windows frame the campus buildings with an air of solemn grandeur.
A grand staircase in the center of the campus offers a tremendous
view of the flora and fauna that envelops the inside of this campus.
Mystic Peak's theme focuses on the campus' wealth, showing glasses and
beautiful landscapes.

Phoenix campus is the third educational institution of the Sacred
Financial Group. Its campus is located in the Southern area of the RAN
world. Together with the other two schools, Phoenix comprises a solid
defense system against, with Phoenix catering mostly to the students of
high society families. Phoenix is renowned for its advanced engineering
curriculum, offering the engineers and scientists of tomorrow access to
the most expensive and advanced technology, free to test out their
theories and experiments.
Sprawling with large classrooms and various futuristic activity
centers, Phoenix is most proud of its ever-expanding libraries and
science facilities. To some, it is a rich and fertile breeding ground of
knowledge and learning, but to others, it is a cold, mechanical place,
where the mind is valued above everything else. Phoenix's theme focuses
on engineering and other industrial works.

The last of the campuses founded by the Sacred Financial Group,
Leonine lays to the East, but due to a yet unexplained accident, the
campus no longer exists. It lies in ruins, a haunting tomb that serves
as a terrifying reminder of a reckoning long past. Strange, supernatural
occurrences at the campus are being reported everyday. Some students,
curious about the events surrounding the enigmatic campus, have ventured
to Leonine, never to return.
Those that do make it back, tell shuddering tales of a giant lion
statue standing menacingly in the darkness, where trees hang withered
and dead like skeletal hands, and where the surviving plant life has
mutated into a savage species that preys on the humans foolish enough to
venture into its path. Once proud and majestic, Leonine is no more, a
black hole, where only nightmares thrive. Enrollment at Leonine campus
is prohibited because its force fields had breakdown and strong monsters
lurk in the school.

Characters in Ran Online can be built in three main
types-DEX(dexterity), INT(intelligence)and the POW(power) types. DEX
types usually has fast skills, low attack power and high defense, INT
types has mid skills, mid attack power and mid defense while POW types
comes with slow skills, high attack power and low defense.
[edit] Swordsman


Swordsmen use swords or
blades to destroy their opponents. They use slashing techniques in upper
or lower strokes. DEX-type swordsman usually delivers skills that can
flinch or cancel its opponent's attack. INT-type swordsman has various
skills which can bolster his and his party members' defense. POW-type
swordsman are the "killers" in the party because of his awesome attack
power. Usually, swordsmen are the ones who always "lures" enemies for
their party due to their high defense compared to the other classes.

Brawlers use gauntlets
as their main weapon. They are masters of many kinds of martial
arts. DEX-type brawlers usually uses his fists and hands to attack
his enemies. INT-type brawlers uses his body parts instead of the hands
which the normal brawler does. POW-type brawlers damages its enemies
with its high kicks. Brawlers are like swordsmen, they are essential for
their party to survive.

With the power of her bow and arrow, the archer
targets its enemies from a long hunting spot. They are the "master
lurers" because they can easily attack its enemies using some area effect skills. DEX-type archers gives her
opponents with fast and accurate skills. INT-type archers possesses
balance or mid-type moves. POW-type archers wields her bow to deliver
melee moves and smash her target. Unlike the powerful swordsman and
brawler, the archer requires arrows in
order to make an attack or skill.

The Qi Gong master, the shaman is the one who supports
her party members. Equipped with a wand and magical
powers, the shaman can easily make powerful enemies vulnerable by making
them paralyzed, burned, or poisoned.
There is no skills made for DEX-type shamans so there are only a few
players who choose to acquire the services of DEX-type shamans. Unlike
the DEX-type shaman, INT-type shamans is fully-equipped with magical
skills like healing chants and buffs. POW-type shamans uses "spears"
instead of wand and gives her opponents some piercing and heavy attack
damage. There is always a shaman in every party because of her healing
and supporting abilities which makes her unique. Shamans, like archers,
also need talismans in order to make an attack or skill.

The Extreme Class can be achieve when your character has reached the
cap-level. With this class, you can use the skills from the four classes
which is the Swordsman, Brawler, Archer and Shaman.

Players can buy items via the game publisher's website. Players load
up with cards bought at various stores and the credits are used in
buying items at the website. These items can be anything from potions,
costumes, accessories, weapons, etc. Once bought, these items are sent
in their Item Bank wherein the player can remove them any time to be put
in his/her inventory. Whilst in the item bank, items with expiry dates
will have their timers stopped.

As of February 2007, there are Japanese, Taiwanese,
Malaysian,
Chinese, Filipino,
India [Indian people]Thai and Indonesian
servers running for RAN online. As of December 19, 2006, the global
service has been shut down. According to Alexa.com, the Filipino RAN Online Philippines
version has become the no.2 (next to Ragnarok Online) Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying
Game in the Philippines. Concurrent users have reportedly peaked at
30,000 and still rising.

Hundreds of private servers has been
established around the world. These private servers has a higher rate of
item drops, gold drops, and exp than those of public servers. It made
leveling easier for players. Also, some items that can be bought in real
currency at the online shop can be bought at NPCs at private servers.
